The toolbox talk app that proves your crew understood — not just attended
A signature on a wet sheet of A4 proves someone held a pen. TBT Go sends the talk to your operatives' phones, checks they actually understood it before they can sign, and seals the record so nobody — including you — can quietly edit it afterwards.
That's the difference between paperwork and evidence. When a principal contractor's auditor, an SSIP assessor or an HSE inspector asks how you brief your workforce, "here's a folder of signatures" is the weakest answer on site. "Here's a timestamped record showing every operative read the talk, passed a comprehension check and signed on their own phone" is the strongest.
How it works
- Assign the talk. Pick from a 50-talk library written for UK sites — working at height, silica dust, manual handling, mental health and more — or write your own. Set it as a one-off or a recurring refresher (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- It lands on their phone. Every operative gets a notification and opens the talk in their browser — no app store, no IT, no huddle round a damp printout. It can be pinned to the home screen like an app.
- They pass the check, then they sign. Short comprehension questions gate the signature. Fail, and the app sends them back to the talk. Pass, and they draw their signature on screen.
- The record seals itself. Date, time, quiz result, signature — locked on the server the moment it's signed. Export the lot as a CSV audit trail or a branded PDF pack for your principal contractor.
And nobody chases the stragglers — TBT Go sends the reminders automatically until every name on the list has signed. The site file fills itself in while you do your actual job.
Records that stand up when it matters
Paper sheets fail quietly: lost pages, illegible names, one biro ticking every "understood" box, dates filled in the night before an audit. TBT Go's records are tamper-proof by design — once signed, they cannot be edited by anyone. What you hand over is a timestamped, quiz-verified, signed trail: the strongest version of the evidence the law expects you to keep. (Not sure what the law actually requires? See are toolbox talks a legal requirement in the UK?)
RAMS in the same tool — drafted by AI, approved by you
Describe the job in plain English and TBT Go drafts the risk assessment and method statement. A competent person reviews, edits and approves before anything is issued — because "AI wrote it in 60 seconds" is not a defence, but "AI drafted it, I approved it, and every operative signed it after passing a comprehension check" absolutely is. Hand-written RAMS stay unlimited on every plan.
Built for the firms that actually do the work
TBT Go is priced for subcontractors and mid-size contractors — scaffolders, roofers, M&E, groundworks, FM and maintenance teams — not for corporates with a compliance department. If you're the director who does the safety paperwork on a Sunday night, this was built for you.
Prices exclude VAT. Month to month — cancel any time, your records stay exportable. For comparison: the best-known RAMS software's entry plan is £44/month for one RAMS document (as of Aug 2026).

Do my operatives need to download an app?
No. Talks open in any smartphone browser from a notification — read, answer, sign. It can be pinned to the home screen like an app, but nothing needs installing from an app store.
What happens if someone fails the comprehension check?
They can't sign off. They see what they got wrong, re-read the talk and try again — and the final record shows the talk was understood before it was signed.
Will principal contractors and auditors accept digital records?
Yes. UK law requires you to provide information, instruction and training and to be able to demonstrate it — not to keep paper. A sealed digital trail with timestamps, quiz results and signatures is stronger evidence than a signed sheet, and exports as a branded PDF pack.
How long does setup take?
Minutes. Add your people, pick talks, assign. The 14-day trial needs no card.
Does TBT Go handle RAMS too?
Yes — AI-drafted, human-approved, workforce-signed, with hand-written RAMS unlimited on every plan.
